About the project
The total area of the Sakhalin Region is 8.7 million hectares.
The forest fund area is 6.9 million hectares, including 5.7 million hectares covered by forests.
Protective forests occupy 20% of the forest fund area, and commercial forests – 80%.
In the region, coniferous stands are in a wide use in commercial forests. They are represented by spruce and fir farms.
Hardwood species on Sakhalin are represented by stone birch, and oak is added to them on the Kuril Islands.
Softwood species are represented by white birch, poplar, willow and other species.
The yield of liquid wood from coniferous species is on average 90%
The annual estimated cutting area is 2.4 million m3, of which about 0.4 million m3 was transferred under lease agreements for timber harvesting, the free estimated cutting area is 1.2 million m3 , and 0.8 million m3 can be allocated for harvesting raw materials for the investment project.

Creation of a modern woodworking enterprise that will be engaged in logging, deep wood processing, conservation and restoration of natural resources of the Sakhalin Region.

The land plot is in municipal ownership. The total area of the territory is 57.9 hectares.Land category: industrial, energy, transport, communications, radio broadcasting, television, information technology, space activities, defense, security and other special-purpose lands.
Infrastructure: central water supply, electricity, gas supply.
Transport accessibility: rail, road 23 km to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and 16 km to Korsakov.
